The students accounts office is an integral part of the college that assists students and parents as well as works closely with the Financial Aid and other student service offices. It is a place to find assistance with understanding your bill, making a payment, setting up a payment plan or receiving a refund.
High school degree or equivalent; Associate or Bachelors in Accounting preferred. 2-3 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience. Keyboard skills with ability to produce and maintain accurate records and professional quality material; Demonstrated background in assuming responsibility, initiative, and working under pressure in a fast paced environment; Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills including spelling, punctuation, and grammar; Work record demonstrating good rapport with the public and a genuine desire to work with a diverse student population; Dependable, particularly regarding time schedules; Ability to operate standard office machines and software packages; Ability to follow procedures and quickly learn new ones, paying particular attention to detail; Demonstrated success of teamwork skills.
