This position is focused on patient and guest check in while providing an excellent guest service experience at the point of entry. The Guest Assistant will greet all guests entering the facility with a welcoming and positive demeanor. If the guest is a patient, they will confirm the scheduled appointment, provide registration onboarding, and escort to the proper hospital destination. The Assistant will welcome visitors and validate patient name and room number to ensure proper visitor management and communicate visitor guidelines. They will respond to immediate needs within their capability or obtain appropriate assistance for needs outside of their scope of service. The Assistant should be aware of the location of all departments and general operations of the hospital so that knowledgeable answers are given to guests in a timely manner. The Assistant must exhibit a professional demeanor, including eye contact, smiling, and greeting guests as they enter the building. The Assistant should demonstrate active listening and adaptability to guest needs and must wear a uniform and maintain good grooming at all times.
Part Time; Weekends Saturday and Sunday 1:30 pm - 10:00 pm
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential responsibility satisfactorily.
