Facilitates effective execution of discipline engineering and design routines that align with the team's goals, objectives, and procedures. Assures accurate and timely communication among the team and other company Functions on discipline engineering activities, progress, and issues. In addition to technical ability, they should demonstrate sound communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.Tasks and ResponsibilitiesIn addition to Level 1 tasks and responsibilities, Level 2: Be an Area engineer for operations for a specific plant areaWork in a team with other Facilities engineers, Site Contact & Lead Engineers to support assigned operations area and gain knowledge/exposure to other areas of plantConduct Monthly Facilities Surveillance of area driven KPI'sProvide operations support for changes, repairs & alterations of all plant pressure equipment (including piping, static equipment, rotating equipment, tanks etc.)Provide shutdown engineering supportSkills and Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Civil, or Electrical Mechanical Engineering or related engineering specialty, or equivalent professional experienceStrong knowledge of discipline design standards, specifications, codes, and appropriate safety criteriaAbility to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and frequent changes in prioritiesProficient in Microsoft Office suite of software programsRead, write, and speak fluent English, especially as it applies to technical and business communicationsAdditional Requirements Field visits required – Carlsbad, NMSmall project development and deliveryScoping facilities/field visitsManaging management changeProject delivery hand off to construction teamProject deliverable closureProblem solving skills - Specifically with Uncon designUncon design experience min 3+ yearsMidland based role - Field visits to Carlsbad/area - minimum 2 days every two weeks for data collection and field walks with operations and construction teams for handoverCarlsbad candidates would be considered6 months with potential for extensionPreference for bachelor's degree or strong experience would be considered5 years' O&G experienceComments/Additional DetailsAllowances Personal truck allowanceMeet & Greet Preferences Zoom preferred – 45 minutesAdditional Requirements Problem solving skills - Specifically with Uncon designUncon design experience min 3+ yearsMidland position - Field visits to Carlsbad/area - min 2 days every two weeks for data collection and field walks with operations and construction teams for handoverCarlsbad candidates would be considered6 months with potential for extensionPreference for bachelor's degree or strong experience would be considered5 years' O&G experiencePowered by JazzHRd2MIgGQPHj
